1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing parentcompass.ai or joining our waitlist, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or submit your email address.

2. What ParentCompass is

ParentCompass is an AI-powered college counselling service for families, currently in its early-access phase. You can join our waitlist for free, and eligible families can reserve a Founding Family subscription ahead of public launch. Product features, pricing, and availability are still evolving and may change as we build toward full launch.

3. Payments & subscriptions

If you purchase a Founding Family subscription, the following terms apply:

• Billing. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. The Founding Family plan is offered at $199 per year, billed at the time of purchase. Your founding rate is locked for as long as your subscription remains active.
• Early access. Founding Families receive early access as features roll out. Some functionality is still under active development; we describe the current state on the relevant pages and do not guarantee a specific delivery date for any individual feature.
• Refunds. If ParentCompass does not meet your expectations, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase by emailing hello@parentcompass.ai.
• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. On cancellation your access continues until the end of the paid period, after which it will not renew at the founding rate.

4. Waitlist

By joining the waitlist, you are expressing interest in ParentCompass and consenting to receive email updates about our launch and pricing. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the product, create a contract, or obligate ParentCompass to launch by any particular date.

You may remove yourself from the waitlist at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us at hello@parentcompass.ai.

5. Intellectual property

All content on parentcompass.ai — including text, graphics, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to ParentCompass. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

This website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ParentCompass makes no representations about the accuracy or completeness of any content on this site. Information about the planned product (features, pricing, launch date) is subject to change without notice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ParentCompass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or your participation in the waitlist.

8. Links to third-party sites

Our site may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience only. We have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility for them.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will notify waitlist members by email of any material changes. Your continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
